Delhi: Fire Breaks Out At Eatery In Connaught Place After LPG Cylinder Leakage, 6 Injured
A fire at a Connaught Place restaurant injured six people due to an LPG cylinder leak. Six fire tenders are extinguishing the flames.

At least six people were injured after a fire broke out at a restaurant in Delhi's Connaught Place area on Thursday. Six fire tenders were rushed to douse the fire which was caused due to a leakage in an LPG cylinder in the kitchen of Bikkgane Biryani restaurant.
The six people who sustained burn injuries were taken to RML Hospital for treatment. One injured person identified as Mahindra (25) suffered 80 per cent burn while two, Deepak (39) and Piyush (31) suffered 70 per cent burn.

Other injured were identified as Md Alam (21) with 30 per cent burn, Sairuddhin (28) with 20 per cent burn, and Janak (26) with 4 per cent burn.
The Delhi Fire Services were alerted about the blaze at around 11:55 am, after which six fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site, according to The Times of India.
The fire is still active and has not been fully contained, the report stated quoting a DFS official. The emergency response teams are currently working to control the blaze. A probe into the incident has also been handed over to the Connaught Place Police Station, reported ANI.
