Six Dehradun college students died in a car crash after a late-night party where they allegedly consumed alcohol, as revealed by a video shared online.
Six college students in Dehradun who died in a car crash earlier this week partied and allegedly drank before the accident, reveals a video shared on social media.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving six students dead and one critically injured. It has been speculated that the students' car was racing a BMW ahead of the collision.
The impact of the collision was so severe that some of the occupants of the car were reportedly decapitated and the vehicle was left wrecked.
The video that surfaced on social media shows a group of young men and women swaying to music and pouring drinks and apparently consuming alcoholic beverages.

The deceased and injured students were reportedly from Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. The deceased were identified as Guneet, 19, Kamakshi, 20, Navya Goyal, 23, Rishabh Jain, 24, Kunal Kukreja 23, Atul Agarwal, 24. One Siddhesh Agarwal, 25 was critically injured in the accident and is a resident of Dehradun.
The accident took place at around 1:30 am on Tuesday at Dehradun's ONGC Chowk as the students' car crashed into a truck from behind.
According to India Today, Siddhesh's iPhone sent an emergency SOS to the police control room moments after the crash, which may have helped him save his life.
Siddhesh's father Vipin Agrawal has said his son has yet not regained consciousness since he was admitted to the hospital. He also urged people not to speculate about their son's activities leading up to the tragedy.
"This is my appeal to everyone – six families have lost their children, they are overwhelmed with grief. My son is in the ICU. Please have some empathy and do not spread fake news and rumours that can send a wrong impression," the father said.
