Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu were among the notable dignitaries who attended the celebrations at the Tsuglagkhang Temple, the official residence of the Dalai Lama. In the days leading up to His Holiness the Dalai Lama's birthday, devotees and monks across Tibetan settlements and monasteries engage in spiritual rituals. They offer prayers and community service, as an act of devotion. Today, Dalai Lama attended a Long Life Prayer that was offered to him by the Kashag of the Central Tibetan Administration. This holy act was on behalf of all the Tibetan people in the morning at the Main Tibetan Temple. This sacred puja is offered to ensure the good health and long life of Dalai Lama, who is revered globally as the living embodiment of compassion and wisdom.
