The oil tanker suddenly went up in flames while parked dangerously close to trucks carrying LPG cylinders.

The incident unfolded along Cherlapally Road, where the tanker had been stationed beside several vehicles loaded with highly flammable LPG cylinders. According to officials, the blaze broke out after the tanker's battery exploded, triggering panic in the area and raising fears of a massive fireball if the flames had reached the gas-laden trucks.

Thanks to the swift response from local emergency services, tragedy was averted. A fire engine from the Cherlapally fire station arrived within minutes, bringing the flames under control before they could spread further. Firefighters acted decisively, not only extinguishing the tanker fire but also spraying water on the LPG trucks as a safety measure.
