Two Wanted Criminals Shot Dead In Separate Incidents In UP’s Bulandshahr, Hathras
During the encounter, Jung Bahadur, the officer in charge of the Aahar station, and Aarif, a constable, were also injured.
Two notorious criminals, one with an extensive criminal record and the other with a bounty of Rs 1.5 lakh, were killed in separate incidents in the Hathras and Bulandshahr districts of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, according to police.
Rajesh Jatav, 30 years old, an infamous gang leader, was killed in a gunfight with the Bulandshahr police under the Aahar police station jurisdiction on Sunday. During the encounter, Jung Bahadur, the officer in charge of the Aahar station, and Aarif, a constable, were also injured.
Jatav, who was intercepted by police while riding a motorcycle alone, reportedly launched a fire when challenged. As a result, the police retaliated, hitting him with three bullets. Both the officer and the constable also sustained gunshot wounds. whereas, Jatav was rushed to a hospital but died on the way.

According to a report by Indian Express, Shlok Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police of Bulandshahr stated that Jatav was running with a bounty of Rs 1.5 Lakh.
“Jatav was running an active gang of around a dozen criminals who were carrying loot, dacoity, and attempts to murder in the Bulandshahr and Aligarh districts for a long time. The Bulandshahr and Aligarh police had respectively announced a reward of 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 on his head. He was wanted in nearly 50 cases lodged at 15 police stations of Aligarh and Bulandshahr, " he said.
Another Criminal Killed By Unknown Attackers
In a separate incident, another criminal, Harendra, also known as Hathi Singh, 31, was shot dead by unknown attackers while on an evening walk in the Sadabad area of Hathras district.
