Criminals have once again carried out a major robbery in Bihar's Patna on Tuesday. According to media reports, a person had brpught the money to register land, which was stolen. After committing the crime, the robbers fled towards Nawada. The incident took place in the Ashok Nagar area under the Kankarbagh police station. Following the incident, the police reached the spot and began investigating, reviewing CCTV footage.
Broad-Daylight Robbery of One Crore Rupees
This robbery of one crore rupees in broad daylight took place in the Ashok Nagar area of Patna. As soon as the incident was reported, senior police officers arrived at the scene and started their investigation. The robbers, using weapons, snatched a bag full of money from individuals who had come to inspect land and then fled the scene.
How The Incident Took Place?
According to Dr. K. Ramdas, the Eastern SP, two individuals from Patna’s Rupaspur, Abhishek and Raju, had brought money to register land through a broker. In the midst of this, the robbery was carried out at gunpoint by four to five criminals.
The police have identified the criminals, and the role of the land broker is also under suspicion. Investigations are being carried out from this angle as well. A special team has been formed, and raids are ongoing for the arrest of the suspects. The police are examining the CCTV footage from the scene and nearby areas. Based on human intelligence and technical analysis, the investigation is being conducted.
