The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has issued a public advisory announcing scheduled power outages across several parts of the city on Sunday, June 29, and Monday, June 30, citing urgent emergency maintenance work. The power cuts are expected to affect more than 100 localities, and residents are urged to plan ahead to minimize inconvenience.

Areas in and around the city center and Peenya division will face temporary disruptions. Key affected zones include, as per reports:

Central Bengaluru: Seshadri Road, Kurubara Sangha Circle, 1st Main Road, Gandhi Nagar (1st & 2nd Cross), Crescent Road, Seshadripuram, Vinayaka Circle, Kempegowda Road, Tank Bund Road, Subedar Chatram Road, Lakshmanpuri Slum, Cubbonpet, Anand Rao Circle, Race Course Road, Chalukya Circle, High Grounds, Malleswaram.

Peenya Division: Kempaiah Garden, Tigalarapalya Main Road, Maruthi Industrial Estate, Nelagedranahalli, HMT Layout, Gruhalakshmi Layout, Vinayakanagar, Jalahalli Cross, Rukmininagar, Lakshmi Devi Nagar, Laggere Old Village, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Chowdeshwari Nagar (6th–9th Cross), ISRO 1st & 2nd Cross, Yeshwantapura Industrial Area, Philips Company area, Dwarakanagara, Babanagara, Bagaluru Cross, Manipal College, BSF quarters, PDMS, and adjoining localities.
