All Schools In Jammu To Remain Close Today As India Strikes Terror Camps In Pak

Indian armed forces carried out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and LeT's base in Muridke.

Schools Closed Jammu: All schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch districts on Wednesday (May 7) after Indian carried out strikes in Pakistan.

Indian armed forces early Wednesday carried out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base in Muridke. The action comes two weeks after 26 civilians were shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

"In view of the prevailing situation, all schools, colleges and educational institutions in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch will remain closed today," Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar said on X.

The strikes were carried out under ''Operation Sindoor''.
