PM Kisan Yojana: Farmers To Get next Installment Of Scheme On New Year; e-KYC Mandatory, Know Details

PM Kisan Yojana 10th Installment: The last installment for PM Kisan Scheme was released on 25th December 2021 last year but this year it has not been done yet.

PM Kisan Yojana 10th Installment: There is good news for all those who are waiting for the 10th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. The 10th installment of the scheme will be transferred on January 1, i.e. New Year.

The central government has communicated the same to the beneficiaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the amount in the bank accounts of the farmers at 12 noon on New Year. Now that the date for the next installment has been decided, here are a few things the beneficiaries should be aware of.

How To Participate In The Program?

Farmers may participate in this programme through this website pmindiawebcast.nic.in or they may get connected through Doordarshan. PM Modi will also release equity grants to farmer producer organizations on the same day as the release of the next installment. 

It Is Mandatory For Farmers To Have eKYC - Know How To Get It Done.

The government has made e-KYC Aadhaar mandatory for farmers registered under the PM KISAN scheme. Information regarding the Aadhar based OTP authentication is available on this portal- pmkisan.gov.in 

Click on the e-KYC option in the farmer’s corner for details and for biometric authentication, one has to contact the nearest CSC center. However, it can also be done sitting at home with the help of a mobile, laptop, or computer.

For this, visit the https://pmkisan.gov.in/ portal.

On the right-hand side, you will find a variety of tabs in which eKYC will be at the top, you have to click on it.

Now enter your Aadhaar number and image code and click the search button.

After this, enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar and enter the OTP.

The eKYC will be completed when you enter all the required details, if any information is wrong or missing, you will get an error that says 'invalid'. 

This may delay your installment or delay the process.

You can get it rectified at Aadhar Seva Kendra.

If eKYC Is Completed, Then On January 1, You Will Be Able To Check Your Name Among The Beneficiaries.

  • Visit the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in
  • On the home page, you will get the option of Farmers Corner. 
  • After clicking on it, go to 'Beneficiaries List'.
  • Click 'drop down'.And select the state, district, sub-district, block, and village. 
  • Click on 'Get Report'. 
  • This will be followed by a complete list of beneficiaries, wherein you can check your name.

What Is The PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme?

The Central Government had launched the scheme in 2019 to increase the income of farmers under which Rs. 6000 is transferred annually to the farmers' account. The government releases three installments of Rs. 2000 and the money is transferred to the farmers every 4 months. 

Success Rate Of The Scheme

The number of farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana has increased to 12 crores. The government has so far transferred 9 installments of money in this scheme. The government has transferred Rs 1.58 lakh crore under the scheme.

Who Gets The Benefits Of The Scheme?

In order to become a beneficiary of this scheme, the age of farmers should be between 18 and 40 years. In addition, farmers should have 2 hectares of cultivable land. Those who do not have cultivable land will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.
