Ola commences ridesharing operations in Adelaide

New Delhi [India], July 19 (ANI): Taxi aggregator Ola on Thursday announced the start of its operations in Adelaide following successful launches in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

With a mission to provide Australia's best ride share experience across seven major metropolitan cities, Ola has facilitated over 1,500,000 rides since its launch in February.

"We are excited to launch in our seventh metro city in a matter of months, as we continue our expansion across the country and provide a better rideshare experience for all Australians," said MD Ola Australia, Simon Smith.

Adding to this Smith said that Ola encourages all Adelaidians to download the app and experience the Ola way to move.

To celebrate its launch in Adelaide, Ola is offering discounted rides from today. Customers can download the Ola app either from Google Play or iOS App Store, register for an Ola account and begin booking rides.

It places driver-partners and quality of rides for passengers front and centre, and receives feedback from customers to understand their needs and enhance their rideshare experience, which includes regular updates to the Ola app to improve customer experience, strengthening the local support team and providing new passenger promotions.

Over the coming months, Ola will continue its rollout in Australia. Largest ride sharing platform aims to launch operations in cities including Darwin and Hobart. (ANI)
