New Delhi: After a record initial public offerings (IPOs) hit the market in 2021, with 63 companies raising Rs 1.2 lakh crore, the highest amount ever raised in a single calendar year, the pace of public listing slowed down this year.
Several upcoming IPOs were deferred as the markets turned volatile amid rising crude oil prices, geopolitical concerns due to Russian and Ukraine conflict, and fears of higher inflation.

The LIC share sale on May 4-9 is expected to fetch the government Rs 21,000 crore, making it the largest IPO in the country to date. Other listings that will follow this issue include Campus Activewear and Rainbow Children’s Medicare.
Although there was not a flurry of IPOs hitting the market since the start of 2022, there were still a few companies that got listed in 2022. We have compiled the list of top IPOs till now.
Here are top IPOs listed so far in 2022
Adani Wilmar Ltd: Shares of Adani Wilmar went on to make a tepid market debut on February 8, but regained the lost ground to surge over 8 per cent against the issue price of Rs 230. The stock made its debut at Rs 221, a discount of 3.91 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. Adani Wilmar, the joint venture between Adani Group and Wilmar Group of Singapore, had set a price band of Rs 218-230 per share for the IPO, which opened for bidding on January 27.
Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd: Shares of Veranda Learning Solutions made a mixed debut on the exchanges on April 11, where it listed with nearly 15 per cent premium on BSE, against the issue price of Rs 137. The stock made its debut at Rs 157, a gain of 14.59 per cent on the BSE. It surged 18.97 per cent to Rs 163 in later trading.
Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd: Shares of Patanjali Ayurved-promoted Ruchi Soya Industries were listed at a 31 per cent premium at Rs 850 on the BSE compared to its follow-on public offer (FPO) price of Rs 650 on April 8. Ruchi Soya's follow-on public (FPO) offer opened for public participation on 24 March and closed on 28 March 2022. The FPO comprised of fresh issue of equity shares for an amount aggregating to Rs 4,300 crore. The price band for the offer was fixed at Rs 615-650 per share. The offer ended with subscription of 3.60 times on 28 March 2022.
Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd: Shares of Hariom Pipe Industries jumped nearly 51 per cent against the issue price of Rs 153 in its debut trade on April 13.The stock made its debut at Rs 214, recording a jump of 39.86 per cent against the issue price on the BSE. It later surged 46.86 per cent to settle at Rs 224.70. On the NSE, the stock opened at Rs 220, a gain of 43.79 per cent from the issue price and jumped 50.98 per cent to settle at Rs 231.
Vedant Fashions Ltd: Vedant Fashions IPO, the parent company of Manyavar and Mohey, posted a strong listing on the share market on February 16. The shares of the company were listed at Rs 936 per equity share on BSE, over 8.1 per cent higher than the issue price of Rs 866.
Uma Exports Ltd: Uma Exports Ltd IPO made a debut on the stock exchange at a premium of 18 per cent on April 7. The issue price was Rs 68 per equity share but it was listed at Rs 80 on the BSE. On the NSE, however, it is listed at Rs 76 per equity share. The subscription of the issue got closed on March 30, 2022.
AGS Transact Technologies Ltd: Shares of payment solutions provider AGS Transact Technologies Ltd made a flat market debut on January 31, listing at Rs 176 on the BSE, against the issue price of Rs 175. At the NSE, it made its debut at par with the issue price at Rs 175. The Rs 680-crore initial public offering of AGS Transact Technologies was subscribed more than eight times on January 21, the final day of the bidding process.
