Gold-Silver Price Today: Gold And Silver Prices Rise After Wednesday's Fall On MCX, Learn Today's Rate

Gold and silver rates go up in the bullion market today. Due to Muharram, the market was closed on Thursday. Gold prices had fallen on MCX on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Bullion markets are witnessing a sharp change in gold and silver prices. Today, the price of 24-carat gold climbed Rs 135, to Rs 47,411 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver was trading Rs 117 higher at Rs 62,250 per kg.

Due to Muharram, the market was closed on Thursday. Gold prices had fallen on MCX on Wednesday. Gold was trading at Rs 47,235 per 10 grams on Wednesday. Silver was recorded at Rs 63,843 per kg in the market

If you look at the prices of gold in major cities, the price of 22-carat gold in Delhi stands at Rs 46,240 while 24-carat gold records at Rs 50,440. In Mumbai, 22-carat gold is trading at Rs 46,120 and 24 carat gold at Rs 47,120.

In Kolkata, 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,590, while 24-carat gold costs Rs 49,290. In Chennai, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 44,650 while 24-carat is selling for Rs 48,710. The gold prices are recorded at 10 grams.

Silver is trading at Rs 62,500 per kilogram. In Delhi, silver is selling at Rs 62,200 per kg Silver is also priced the same in Mumbai and Kolkata. While in Chennai, Silver is trading at Rs 67,000 per kg.
