Many Indian firms are tackling key social issues in rural areas through their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, creating positive changes.

In recent years, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in India have played a significant role in addressing key societal issues. Companies such as Patanjali Ayurved, Tata Group, Reliance Industries, and Mahindra & Mahindra have made notable contributions to health, education, and rural development through their CSR initiatives. These companies and their trusts organise free yoga camps, Ayurvedic research centres, and rural development programmes through their CSR initiatives.

This initiative by these institutions and organisations, including Patanjali, not only promotes health and fitness in rural areas but also encourages farmers to adopt organic farming. Furthermore, these well-known Indian companies have established factories in villages to create employment opportunities and strengthen the rural economy.

In the field of education, institutions like Acharyakulam schools and Gurukuls are combining modern education with Indian culture through yoga.
