Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Other Popular Coins Report Losses For Second Day Straight

Quick take on Cryptocurrency price on December 17: The global crypto market cap stood at $800.81 billion on Saturday morning.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) — two of the most valued crypto coins — slipped below the $17,000 and $1,200 marks, respectively, on early Saturday morning. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC) — landed in the red as overall prices saw losses across the board. Trust Wallet Token (TWT) token emerged to be the biggest loser, seeing a 24-hour decline of over 29 percent. UNUS SED LEO (LEO), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest gainer. 

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $800.81 billion, registering a 24-hour gain of 5.79 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin price stood at $16,683.50, seeing a 24-hour loss of 4.22 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 14.64 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

ETH price stood at $1,174.81, marking a 24-hour loss of 7.63 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.02 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today

DOGE registered a 24-hour decline of 11.26 percent as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.07671. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 6.81.

Litecoin (LTC) price today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour decline of 9.07 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $66.64. LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,620.56.

Ripple (XRP) price today

XRP price stood at $0.3535, seeing a 24-hour loss of 6.25 percent. As per WazirX, Ripple price stood at Rs 30.20.

Solana (SOL) price today

Solana price stood at $12.24, marking a 24-hour decline of 12.89 percent. As per WazirX, SOL price in India stood at Rs 1,130.
