Bank Holidays in March 2024: During the month of March, banks are scheduled to remain closed for a total of 14 days due to both national and regional holidays.
It is imperative that customers plan their bank appointments in the month according to the full holiday list. These holidays are decided on the basis of region-specific festivals, along with general weekend holidays, applicable to all banks across the country. These bank holidays are inclusive of festivals, national holidays, weekend holiday - second and fourth Saturdays, and all Sundays.
In March, bank employees will also have the benefit of a long weekend in certain regions due to the holidays around the Holi weekend.
