Bank Holidays 2021: Full List Of Days Banks Will Remain Closed This Year

Here is the complete list of the major bank holidays in 2021 as prescribed by the RBI. Apart from the holidays issued, there are also some additional holidays which are prescribed by different states.

New Delhi: According to the holiday list released by the Reserve Bank of India, in 2021, the banks will remain shut for more than 40 days. The RBI which is the apex banking body in the country that controls all the bank's operations and manages finances for the smooth functioning of the government, every year releases a list of prescribed holidays for the banks. It is also worth mentioning central government holidays are applicable to banks while there are some other state and religious occasions when banks of that particular state remain closed.
