The Maruti Suzuki cars submitted for testing include the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Grand Vitara and its Baleno premium hatchback. This comes after six months from the first round of results from the BNCAP crash test results and the new results will also include cars other than Maruti Suzuki but majorly, the three Maruti cars would be expected to be in the limelight.
The first results were of the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari in its facelifted form which was launched last year. The Baleno is based on the Heartect platform while the Suzuki TECT platform (Global C-platform) forms the base for the Grand Vitara too.
The Brezza which till now has got one of the highest ratings for a Maruti Suzuki car, is also built on the Global-C platform or TECT platform.
The new ratings will most probably not include the upcoming Maruti Swift which will be launched on the 9th of this month in its new generation avatar. More details regarding the crash test results would come out on the 8th so stay tuned!
