Should Hyundai Launch Its Biggest SUV In India?

The new Palisade is the biggest SUV by Hyundai and is an 8-seater, yes it comes in either 7 or 8 seater form while the 2023 model gets a new grille along with rear styling.

New Delhi: Hyundai has tasted success with its SUV range mostly with the Creta but in global markets, it also makes other bigger SUVs. While we are expecting the new Tucson, there is one SUV which is amongst the biggest made by Hyundai. That is called the Palisade and the new 2023 model comes with luxury features.

The new Palisade is the biggest SUV by Hyundai and is an 8-seater, yes it comes in either 7 or 8 seater form while the 2023 model gets a new grille along with rear styling. It is simply massive and is near 5m long plus also quite wide.

The new model gets features like the biggest ever 12inch touch screen for a Hyundai with a higher res plus a digital key along with a remote control keyfob which can be used to move the car forward/backwards! The interior is luxurious and even the third row has its own heating functions. The second row also has a lot of technology and comfort features while space is plentiful.

For some select markets, the Palisade comes with a big petrol V6 or a 2.2l diesel. For the US market, there are ADAS functions linked with the navigation too. Being developed mainly for the US, the Palisade is designed for being a luxury SUV throughout. We think the huge looks would be well accepted here and the massive Palisade could be an interesting SUV from India if considered for launch.

It would be expensive and take along other luxury SUVs but the design, space and features would surely win buyers. The most expensive Hyundai would be the upcoming new Tucson SUV but the Palisade is much larger and competes with German luxury SUVs. We think it has a good chance to do that!
