With pollution in the air, the only escape can be an air purifier in your car. Here are the top 5 affordable SUVs with air purifiers.

Clean air is a luxury these days and while this keeps on repeating year after year, in terms of the pollution in some of our major cities including Delhi, what we can do is prepare ourselves for small things. We spend a lot of time in our cars and an air purifier is something which is very helpful. While SUVs are most popular, only a handful of SUVs provide air purifiers below 10 lakh and here we have listed them.

Hyundai Venue

The Venue was one of the first SUVs and cars, in general, to have an air purifier fitted. The Venue is recommended by us and the air purifier has a HEPA filter that filters out dust particles and more. It is also one of the most affordable cars to have an air purifier standard in some of its top-end trims. There are two top-end versions that get this trim including the DCT version with the turbo petrol. The Venue comes with two petrol and one diesel engine with the petrol getting an automatic plus an iMT clutchless manual- the variant with which the air purifier is available.

Kia Sonet

The Sonet is a subcompact SUV and also comes with an air purifier too. The Sonet has a system called Smart Pure Air purifier which comes with features such as virus protection and more. It has a built-in air purifier with a display and also an in-built perfume. The Sonet air purifier is also for some of its top-end trims. The Sonet comes with two petrol engines and one diesel while the petrol gets an automatic option, there is also an iMT clutchless manual along with a diesel automatic trim too.

Renault Kiger

The Kiger has an options pack where the air purifier is there as part of the options available with this car. As a part of its Smart+ pack, the Kiger has a Philips air purifier that cleans the air and removes harmful particles. It has been mounted behind the seat headrest. The Kiger is available with two petrol engines with automatic options with both being either an AMT gearbox or a CVT automatic with turbo petrol. 

Nissan Magnite

As a part of its tech pack, the Magnite also gets an air purifier too. The air purifier is placed in the central storage place and has a digital display. It is conveniently placed so as to not hamper storage while also cleaning up the air. This is part of the tech pack and not standard though. The Magnite comes with two petrol engines including a turbo petrol unit which gets a CVT automatic gearbox as an option.

Tata Punch

The Punch has an air purifier as an accessory. It is a Air-o-Pure 95 air purifier that comes equipped with an Active Carbon HEPA filter and UV-C light. It improves the air quality plus removes bacteria along with filtering out harmful particles. This is available at Tata Motors showrooms plus is a fit at the cupholder space while also being available for all Tata SUVs including the Punch too.
