New Maruti Brezza Bookings Open — To Come With 6 Airbags And Sunroof

Ahead of its launch bookings are open for the all-new Maruti Brezza, this time it has removed the Vitara tag from its name as it is simply named 'Brezza'.

New Delhi: Maruti has opened bookings for its new Brezza in India at Rs 11000 and the launch would be on the 30th of this month. This is an all-new model and official announcements regarding its features list show what all is new regarding the Brezza. In terms of the powertrain, expect the smart hybrid 1.5l petrol engine and crucially this new engine will come with a 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. Standard would be a 5-speed manual gearbox of course. The SUV will get an idle start/stop system to increase fuel efficiency as well while we expect top efficiency figures from the new Brezza. Interestingly the new Brezza removes the Vitara tag from its name as it is simply named 'Brezza'.

Other new features would be an electric sunroof plus 6 airbags and ESP. We do expect more premium features including connected car technology and more. This is a big update for this popular SUV while the interior would be all new and the biggest talking point of the new Brezza. The smart hybrid petrol powertrain will compensate for the lack of a diesel engine in the range. The new Brezza will get a different face and a new rear styling as well. We will have more details on the new Brezza soon.

The new Brezza is the latest in a long line of new car launches from Maruti Suzuki after the Baleno, XL6 and Ertiga were launched in a new avatar. The new Brezza will be sold via Arena dealerships.
