Hyundai Creta SUV's Waiting Period Goes Up To 8 Months — More Details Here

Hyundai continues to reach new heights in the Indian automobile market with its best-selling SUV. Due to its growing demand, the waiting period for Hyundai Creta has been extended up to 8 months.

New Delhi: The most popular SUV Hyundai Creta continues to outperform in the Indian automobile market. This best selling SUV continues to attract and increase its customer base. Hyundai Creta's demand has gone up in the market. Because of this high demand, the waiting period has increased to 8 months now. Customers now have to wait for around 5-6 months to purchase Creta's SX (O) diesel automatic variant. The waiting period has also increased due to supply constraints and ever-increasing demand.   

Price: According to the company, Hyundai Creta SX and SX (O) are its best selling variants. Creta's diesel variant accounts for about 60 per cent of the sale. The price of Hyundai Creta SX and SX (O) diesel manual variants is up to Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 16.37 lakh respectively. Creta SX diesel automatic variant costs Rs 16.57 lakh and SX (O) diesel automatic variant sells at around Rs 17.78 lakh. Creta's entry-level petrol variant is priced at Rs 10.16 lakh. 

Features: Hyundai Creta's next-generation model features many amazing features. These include features like LED projector headlamp with cascading grille, daytime running lights, wireless charging, ventilated front seat, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, tyre pressure monitoring system, multiple airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD).

Powerful Engine: Hyundai Creta SUV is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine (115bhp), a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine (115bhp) and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Its 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines generate 113 bhp of power and 144 Nm torque, while the turbo-petrol engine generates 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm torque.

Competitor - Kia Seltos: The facelift Hyundai Creta SUV is competing with Kia Seltos. With a 1.5-litre petrol engine, Kia Seltos is priced at Rs 9.9 lakh and its 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine costs Rs 17.7 lakh. Seltos' diesel variant is available at a starting price of Rs 10.6 lakh, while the top diesel model costs Rs 18.10 lakh.
