Auto Expo 2025: MG has unveiled its highly anticipated Cyberster electric sports car in India, with bookings set to open in March. The Cyberster, a sleek and performance-oriented electric vehicle, comes equipped with a 77kWh battery pack, boasting a thickness of just 110mm.

This all-wheel-drive (AWD) sports car features two electric motors, generating an impressive 510hp and 725Nm of torque, ensuring exceptional performance for a vehicle of its size. The Cyberster offers a claimed range of 580km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds — faster than many conventional petrol-powered supercars.

In terms of handling, the Cyberster achieves an ideal 50:50 weight distribution, contributing to optimal driving dynamics. As a two-seater roadster with a soft top, the Cyberster also stands out with its scissor doors, which incorporate radar sensors and an anti-pinch mechanism, specifically designed for the Indian market.

Inside, the cabin features a futuristic design, highlighted by a large steering wheel and a screen that wraps around the driver, enhancing the high-tech feel of the car.

MG Select: New Retail Chain Focused On Premium Electrified Vehicles In India

The Cyberster marks the debut of MG Select, a new retail chain focused on premium electrified vehicles in India. MG plans to establish 12 such centres across the country this year.

Additionally, the company will launch another new model later in the year: the MG M9, a premium luxury MPV. At its price point, the Cyberster faces no direct rivals, especially considering its unique blend of striking design and impressive performance. While it draws inspiration from MG's classic roadsters, the Cyberster is a modern electric iteration, with standout features such as its eye-catching styling and supercar-inspired doors.
