Different deities are designated for each of the 7 days of the week:
Monday: Monday is considered the day of Lord Shiva. On this day, worship of Lord Shiva and Chandra Dev (Moon) is performed. Chandra Dev is considered the significator of the mind. To strengthen the Moon in the birth chart and wish for marital bliss and happiness in married life, perform Shiva Linga Abhishek or Rudrabhishek on Mondays. Bholenath's blessings will fulfill all desires, and mental stress will be alleviated.
Tuesday: Worship of Lord Hanuman and Mangal (Mars) is considered best on Tuesdays. Lord Hanuman is believed to be quickly pleased in this era. Chanting Hanuman Chalisa and offering red items like sindoor and gram dal to Hanuman on Tuesdays can turn around all troubled situations. Observing Tuesday fasting brings relief from enemies and obstacles. It also brings peace to Mars, and Mangal Dosha is rectified, making way for marriage.
Wednesday: Wednesday is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. To appease Mercury (Budh) and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, donate green moong (green gram) and offer durva grass to Ganesha. Performing these actions enhances intelligence and knowledge. Speech becomes clearer, and auspicious tasks are completed without obstacles. Health benefits are also gained.
Thursday: Thursday is the day for worshipping Lord Vishnu and Brihaspati Dev (Jupiter). Performing donations of yellow items such as chana dal, banana, and saffron on Thursdays brings joy to married life. Those facing delays in marriage or hindrances in job or business should observe Thursday fasting. It brings merit and positive results.
Friday: Friday is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Shukra Dev (Venus). Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on Fridays ensures a life filled with prosperity and abundance. Additionally, the auspiciousness of the Venus planet brings beauty, wealth, fame, and prosperity to life.
Saturday: Saturday is devoted to Lord Shani (Saturn). On this day, Hanuman Ji's worship is also recommended. Shani Dev is considered a dispenser of justice, and he provides results according to one's actions. Offering sesame oil and black sesame seeds to Shani Dev on Saturdays reduces the malefic effects of Sade Sati and Dhaiya.
Sunday: Sunday is dedicated to worshipping the Sun deity. Offering water, flowers, and akshat (uncooked rice) in a copper pot to Lord Surya in the morning enhances one's self-esteem, courage, and energy. It brings honor and respect.
