Wang Yang advises CPPCC to innovate, develop

Beijing [China], April 5 (ANI): Chairman of China's top political advisory Wang Yang on Wednesday advised the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to innovate, develop and put more effort in their work.

"As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, the CPPCC now faces higher requirements," Wang said at the 13th CPPCC National Committee as quoted by China's news agency Xinhua.

Wang, who is on a visit to the economic capital of China Shanghai stressed the importance of studying and implementing President Xi Jinping 's thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress in CPPCC work.

He further said that CPPCC must work towards finding solutions to new challenges faced by the country and provide targeted and timely advice to the ruling party.

Wang also reviewed the work reports submitted by the CPPCC committees at Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces.

This is the first meeting conducted by Wang after being elected to the post of the Chairman of CPPCC. (ANI)
