Two killed in school bus accident in New Jersey

New Jersey [US], May 18 (ANI): At least two were killed after a school bus collided with a dump truck and fell off a New Jersey highway on Thursday.

As reported by the ABC News, fifth-grade students of East Brook Middle School in Paramus, New Jersey were en-route to a field trip accompanied by their teachers and chaperones at the time of the collision.

Further Holly Tedesco, Paramus Council president and police commissioner informed about the casualties.

The school bus is said to have fallen at Route 80 near Mount Olive Township, which is about 50 miles west of New York City.

The deceased have not been identified yet. Further, an unknown number of injured have been admitted to Morristown Medical Center.

Further the New Jersey rescue team deployed cadaver dogs to find victims who might have been ejected.

The accident site has been closed down by the police forces. (ANI)
