Obama's photo of Harvey being circulated is actually from 2015

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], Aug 29 (ANI): The picture of United States former President Barack Obama, along with his family helping serve meals in Houston, Texas, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, has taken social media platform by storm.

But interestingly, this picture, which has been most circulated this weekend, is two years old and was taken at a homeless shelter in Washington during Thanksgiving, reported the CNN.

The picture was shared on Twitter with a caption saying, "Something you'll never see Trump do: Obama is in Texas serving meals!"

Apparently when one of the Twitterers called the poster out on the error, for which he got this reply, "Sorry for people thinking this was in Texas (he was there) but this is from 2015."

As per reports, the person who originally posted the picture has deleted the picture.

While Obama was not in Texas, he tweeted a link to the American Red Cross encouraging people to help each other. (ANI)
