Viral Sach: Know why Indian government is making soldiers buy their uniform

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday mocked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after reports of the Centre slashing funds for soldiers' uniform emerged. 
This however is not the actual truth.
The Indian government has now planned to give uniform allowances to soldiers. This allowance is for 24 out of 54 uniform items which Indian soldiers poses. The rest would be provided by the army itself.
