YouTube removes record number of videos after AI was put to work

Due to Coronavirus and shutdowns or lockdowns accross the world, YouTube employees were asked to work from home as well. This increased the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI process then removed record number of videos as per rules laid down by the company. AI was supposed to review content and then delete the video. This is why many videos were deleted.
In between period of April and June, more then 3 lakh appeals were made
