North India shivers as cold wave intensifies
Delhi woke up to a chilly morning on Thursday as a severe cold wave swept through entire northern India with a forecast of a likely cold or severe cold day conditions for the next five days in many states.
The India Meteorological Department here said the cold wave with foggy weather would continue in the region till December 30. Thereafter, the chill is likely to strengthen with possibilities of mild rains.
