Mist cannons, water sprinklers out on roads amid heatwave in Rajasthan | ABP News
Temperatures in Rajasthan's capital have been soaring above 45 degrees Celsius, and the weather office has forecast no respite from the heat for the next few days. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation is using mist cannons to spray water on the roads, which people are utilising to take a cool shower. Tourists to the city say that they like the idea of the mist sprays, which provide much needed relief from the heat. The Bikaner district administration has also started using fire brigade vehicles to sprinkle water on the roads in different areas of the city.
According to the Met department, the heat wave in Rajasthan will persist for the next few days. Severe heatwave conditions have been forecast for Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Shekhawati regions of the state.
