Without lockdown India would have reported 8.20 lakh cases: ICMR
Indian Council of Medical Research in its research has said that if lockdown was not implemented in India, then the nation would have reported 8.20 lakh cases till 15 April. So far India has reported 6412 cases of the deadly coronavirus. According to the ministry, Maharashtra is the worst-hit state after recording 1,364 positive cases. Out of these 6412 cases, 61 per cent have been reported from six states.
