Why are Indian doctors being spat at and attacked?

In Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, the medical team was attacked by the residents with stones. Many doctors were injured in the stone pelting incident. The only question is why was it done? The situation got really aggressive and hence annoucements were made from the nearby mosque to not to indulge in such activities.
