'Those Who Inflict Pain Shouldn't Claim To Provide Relief,' Akhilesh Yadav Hits Back At Keshav Prasad Maurya
Following the Allahabad High Court's decision to annul the merit list for the 69,000 teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh, political reactions have intensified. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya welcomed the court's decision, but political analysts have viewed this through a political lens. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has responded sharply to Maurya's statement. Yadav criticized Maurya, saying, "Those who cause pain should not claim to offer relief. The statement from Uttar Pradesh's 'granted Deputy Chief Minister' about the 69,000 teacher recruitment case is conspiratorial. He was initially complicit with the government in denying reservation rights, and now, after youth fought for justice and succeeded through a prolonged struggle, he has come forward to pose as a sympathizer." The SP chief further stated, "In reality, this 'granted Deputy Chief Minister' is not aligned with the recruitment candidates. He is playing his political game within the BJP. Even those he indirectly accuses understand the internal political maneuvering behind this issue."
