SP sings Jana Gana Mana to foil probable clash in Giridih
Presence of mind of Giridih Superintendent of Police, Surendra Kumar, helped in dispersing the Citizenship Amendment Act protesters in Jharkhand. In Giridih, the anti-CAA protesters were all charged up and the possibility of a clash was evident. But SP managed to talk them out of it. When he saw that more efforts would be required to avoid any untoward incident, he sang the national anthem of India and managed to ask the protesters to leave for their homes.
