Sensex down by 1049 pts, Gold prices hit new record
Sensex slumped 1049 points on Monday. The gold prices also recorded a new hight with around Rs 48000. The fall can be attributed to the extension of the nationwide lockdown till May 31 and the disappointment in several quarters over the economic package.
