Mamata Banerjee appeals for peace during oath-taking ceremony

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has administered the oath of office to TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee. She takes the chair of Chief Minister for the third consecutive time. 

Right after being sworn in as Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee in a short speech announced that she will talk about the plan of action regarding the Covid-19 situation in the state. TMC chief also said, that there will be no political violence as she has stepped in as Chief Minister. Bengal does not like violence not do I. I will personally look into the law and order issues and make sure there's peace," Mamata Banerjee said after being appointed as CM for the third term.
