Mahashivratri 2025: MP CM Mohan Yadav Visits Mahakaleshwar Temple as Mahakumbh Concludes
On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav offered prayers at the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Meanwhile, at the grand Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the final holy dip is underway, marking the event’s conclusion. An estimated 2.5 crore devotees are expected to take the sacred bath today, pushing the total number of pilgrims past 66 crores. With the influx of devotees increasing, authorities have implemented stringent security measures. The Indian Railways has launched an emergency plan, operating over 350 special trains from Prayagraj to manage the rush. Over 55 lakh devotees have already performed the holy dip since morning. CM Yogi Adityanath is personally monitoring the arrangements from the Gorakhpur control room, ensuring a smooth and safe culmination of this historic spiritual gathering.
