Maharashtra News: MNS Workers Force Auto Driver To Apologize In Marathi Row, Intimidation Caught On Video
A disturbing incident has surfaced from Bhiwandi in Maharashtra where Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers were caught on camera intimidating a non-Marathi auto driver and forcing him to apologize with folded hands. The incident followed a minor altercation between the driver and a Marathi-speaking passenger. Instead of resolving the matter peacefully, MNS workers confronted the driver, threatening and humiliating him in public. The video shows MNS activists, allegedly close to party chief Raj Thackeray, gesturing aggressively at the driver and compelling him to apologize for the verbal dispute. They warned him never to misbehave with Marathi-speaking passengers, suggesting that touching or arguing with them would not be tolerated. This is not the first such incident. MNS leaders have frequently been accused of targeting non-Marathi individuals, especially amid growing discussions over upcoming civic body elections in the state. Political observers believe such aggressive actions are being fueled by provocative remarks made during public addresses by top MNS leaders, where they indirectly encourage such intimidation while asking their followers to avoid filming these acts. The incident has drawn sharp criticism, with many calling it a clear case of hate-driven bullying and a dangerous reflection of rising regional intolerance
