Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said at the worker appreciation ceremony in Rae Bareli, UP that he wholeheartedly thanks the people of Amethi and Rae Bareli. On the basis of the results of UP Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at BJP and said that they (BJP) even lost the Ayodhya seat. Not only in Ayodhya but also in Varanasi, they came out saving their lives. He said that if Priyanka Gandhi had contested from Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would have lost by 2 to 3 lakh votes.
