Lok Sabha Election 2024: Hena Shahab Casts Her Vote In Bihar's Siwan Amidst Fierce Contest | ABP News
Hena Shahab, wife of Gangster-politician late Mohammad Shahabuddin, casts her vote at a polling station in Siwan. Hena Shahab is contesting as an Independent from here as RJD has fielded Awadh Bihari Choudhary, and JD(U) has fielded Vijaylakshmi Devi.
In the 2019 Siwan constituency election, Kavita Singh from the JD(U) party won, defeating Hena Shahab from the RJD by a margin of 116,958 votes. Kavita Singh secured 448,473 votes.
Over 1.49 crore voters will exercise their franchise in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar on Saturday. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the election, with more than 60,000 security forces deployed for this phase. Polling parties have already left for their respective centres. According to the State Election Commission, voting will be held in the Valmikinagar, West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Siwan, and Maharajganj Lok Sabha constituencies.
