J&K: 2G, Broadband services partially restored for 7 days

This will be a huge relief for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir as broadband and 2G services have been restored partially in the valley. The service has been restored for seven days for now. The government will extend the duration after observing the conditions in the valley
However, users will not be be able to access any social media sites and messaging services.The step has been taken after Supreme Court said that internet was a part of fundamental rights. The court laid emphasis on normalising the situation in the valley
