Jharkhand Elections 2019: PM Modi blames opposition for woes in state | Full speech
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the people of Jharkhand in Bokaro ahead of the third phase of polls on December 12. Modi hit out at Congress and its allies saying that they had no intentions to develop the state. The Congress party has promoted Naxalism in Jharkhand and political instability, due to which the state could not witness infrastructural development, PM added.
Prime Minister Modi also said the BJP has ensured an era of peace and development in Jharkhand and urged the people to vote for the BJP in order to ensure its return to power in the state.
The first phase of election in the state had taken place on November 30, while the state voted for the second phase on December 7. The voting for the third phase will held on December 12, the fourth phase on December 16, and the fifth and last phase on December 20.
