Jammu & Kashmir: LeT commander neutralized in Anantnag encounter; internet suspended

On Saturday, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander was killed in an encounter with security officers in the Sirhama area of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, according to Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar. The authorities have identified Nisar Dar as the LeT commander. According to the authorities, the internet has also been switched off in some sections of Anantnag as a precaution.
