Once again the demand for ballot paper in place of EVM has started rising. This time this debate and demand has not become national but international. Actually, this debate started with an X post by the world's richest man Elon Musk. In this post, Musk has talked about EVMs being hacked and destroying them forever. Referring to the EVM controversy related to Shiv Sena Shinde faction leader Ravindra Vaikar's victory in Mumbai's North-West seat by 48 votes, Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter, "EVMs are a black box in India, and no one is allowed to check them." are not allowed. Serious concerns are being raised regarding transparency in our electoral process. When there is a lack of accountability in institutions, democracy becomes a sham and the possibility of fraud increases.”
