Lal Bahadur Shastri was born on October 2, 1904, at Mughalsarai, a small railway town in Uttar Pradesh. Lal Bahadur's small town schooling was not apt therefore he was sent to Varanasi for high school studies. But, Did you know his name got cut from the school when he was very young.
