On Monday, December 30, Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal made a significant announcement. He declared that priests working in Delhi's temples and Granthis in Gurudwaras will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹18,000. Kejriwal stated that registration for this scheme will begin on Tuesday, December 31, with the launch taking place at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place. He also mentioned that all party candidates will ensure the registration process is carried out in their respective constituencies.
