Jammu and Kashmir administration is planning to develop this bridge as a tourist attraction. A total of 30,000 metric tons of steel has been used in the construction of Chenab Railway Bridge. Apart from this, this special bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1486 crore and can withstand wind speed up to 260 km per hour.
