A major ruckus broke out during a public meeting held by BJP star campaigner Navneet Rana in Amravati, Maharashtra, on Saturday (November 16). The incident occurred in Khallar, Dariyapur taluka, when a heated argument at the meeting escalated into chaos, with attendees throwing chairs at each other and shouting slogans. Security personnel had to intervene, escorting Navneet Rana out of the venue safely. The meeting was organized to campaign for a candidate from the Youth Swabhimaan Party. A video of the disturbance quickly went viral on social media. In response to the violence, Navneet Rana filed a police complaint at the Khallar police station. Authorities registered a case based on her complaint and are identifying the culprits using the viral footage. Security in the area was intensified, and peace was restored by Saturday evening. This incident follows a previous threat to Navneet Rana in October 2024, when she received a letter demanding a ransom of ₹10 crores. The letter, allegedly sent by someone named Amir, was received by one of her staff members, leading to a police complaint at the Rajapeth police station in Amravati.
