In a significant development in the Chandan Mishra murder case, Patna Police have detained two more individuals, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to seven. According to internal updates, both newly detained individuals had been staying in a rented house for the past six to seven months, raising suspicions about their role in the planning or support of the murder. While police continue to investigate the core group of five shooters, this latest move indicates that the conspiracy may have involved more people. The motive and connections are still under investigation, and questioning is currently underway. The focus of the probe remains on the Sheru gang. Sheru Singh, the alleged mastermind, is lodged in Purulia Jail and has been under questioning by the Bihar STF. Police suspect that the murder was orchestrated from inside the jail, and information from these new detainees could support that theory. More than 48 hours after the brutal killing inside Patna’s Paras Hospital, police action is intensifying.
