Breaking News: S.Jaishankar Asserts Kashmir Issue Will Be Solved Once POK is Returned from Pakistani Occupation

During his visit to the UK, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar made a significant statement regarding the Kashmir issue. He emphasized that the solution to the Kashmir problem lies in the return of the part of Kashmir that is under illegal Pakistani occupation. Jaishankar stated, "We are waiting for the return of the stolen part of Kashmir, which is under illegal Pakistani occupation. Once that is done, Kashmir will be solved." He further reiterated India's stance, highlighting that the issue could be resolved if Pakistan vacates the occupied territory. While addressing a program at Chatham House in London on March 5, Jaishankar also spoke about India's efforts for peace and development in Kashmir. He outlined the steps taken, including the removal of Article 370, restoring growth and economic activity, ensuring social justice, and holding elections with a high voter turnout. Jaishankar also expressed that better relations with neighboring countries were part of India's long-term approach. Additionally, he raised concerns regarding the security situation in the region, mentioning that the UK had been urged to take action against separatist and extremist elements. Jaishankar's remarks underscore India's commitment to resolving the Kashmir issue and ensuring lasting peace in the region.
